Gary Thomas Peloquin

Gary Thomas Peloquin, 80, of Athens, passed away on June 18, 2026. Born on December 18, 1945, he was the son of the late Hazel Paski.

Gary had many interests such as drag racing, spending time outdoors with his kids, and enjoying a cigarette with his coffee. Above all he was a hard and dedicated worker. He owned and operated his business Peloquin’s Differentials for roughly 44 years spending the early years operating in California and the later years in Athens, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Peloquin and his 4 siblings.

Survivors include his children, Ryan Peloquin (Angela) and Brandy Cates (Andy) ; grandchildren, Alyx Haga, Austin Peloquin, Matthew, Zoe and Levi Cates; great grandchildren, Lucy Haga, Kai Peloquin, Miles Haga.
