Danielsville

Freddie L. Coile, cherished husband, father, son and evangelist, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at the age of 59.

Born in Royston, he was a son of Jane Ramona McElreath Coile and the late Herbert Stewart Coile. Freddie graduated from Madison County High School in 1983, the University of Georgia in 1988, and from Florida Bible College in 1990. After more than 20 years in full-time ministry as an itinerate evangelist, he received his first Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary in 2017. Freddie later received his second Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Dayspring Bible College and Seminary in 2024. He founded Focus Evangelistic Ministries (www.freddiecoile.org) and Grace Farm Youth Camp (www.gracefarmonline.com). Most importantly, Freddie was known for his passion in declaring the truth of the Bible with clarity and simplicity, as represented in his “21 Word” gospel presentation: You’re a sinner and the penalty is death. Jesus paid your price. You can have everlasting life by believing in him!

In addition to his mother, Freddie is survived by his wife, Janet Williamson Coile; children, Josiah S. Coile (Denita), Eden Grace Coile, Benjamin W. Coile and Bethany F. Coile; siblings, Garold Coile (Alice) and Robin Coile (Latana) and a host of other relatives and friends.
