Frances Dianne Pitts

Frances Dianne Pitts was born in Georgia on August 25, 1952, and passed away on October 28, 2026. She was the daughter of the late John and Nell Pitts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special friend, Jill Matthews.

She is survived by her two brothers, Jack (Rose) Horton and Carl Pitts; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friends, Linda Brooks, Tim and Wendy Brooks, and Kayla Joyner.

Frances attended Abraham Baldwin College, where she pursued her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. She worked at Athens General Hospital for over 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and traveling with her friends, making many special memories along the way.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Watkinsville, starting at 2:00 P.M.
