Frances Jackson, 79, peacefully passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her home in Athens, GA.
She was a daughter of the late Inus and Evie Mae Christopher. Frances was the widow of the late Kent Jackson and was also preceded in death by a sister, Eva Carson and a brother, Judd Christopher.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by a son, Stevie Jackson; daughter, Chris Scarborough; sister, Dallas White; brother, Jessie Christopher; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery, Cole Springs Road, Bishop, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
