Bishop - Florence Viola MacPherson, 103, formerly of Inman, SC, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert Douglas MacPherson.
Mrs. MacPherson was born in Camden, NJ, but considered herself a native of Toronto, Canada. Her parents, William Wilson Townsend and Maude Culbert Townsend; son Robert Townsend MacPherson; sister Thelma Culbert Swinyard; grandson Colin MacPherson, all preceded her in death. She was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church, Inman, SC.
Survivors include her daughter in law, Betty MacPherson; granddaughters and their husbands, Donna MacPherson, Shelia and Chris Long, Robin and Ed Mitchell; grandsons and their wives, Doug and Elizabeth MacPherson, Alan and Debbie MacPherson, Bruce and Lynn MacPherson; granddaughter in law Jodi MacPherson, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Funeral services will be private.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the American Red Cross or the charity of oneís choice.
Lord & Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
