Faye Smith

Faye Smith, 77, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, July 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Beard and Thomas Edward Smith. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, working in her garden and spending time with the ones she loved.

Survivors include three daughters, Starla Kettle, Julie Moody and Tammy (Gary) Woods; stepson, Bengie Pulliam; siblings, Peggy (Jerry) Bray, Bo (Elaine) Smith, Roger (Brenda) Smith and Freddie Smith; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will be planning a Celebration of Life for a later date for those she loved and cared for dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
