Athens - Eunice B. Brooks, 101, died January 12, 2009.
A native of Walton County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late James Fred and Mary Liza Pulliam Brook and was the widow of Johnny Frank Brooks. She was retired from Clarke County School System and was a charter member of Johnson Drive Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Walter Lee and Betty Brooks of Athens; daughter, Mary Ellen Martin of Watkinsville; daughter-in-law, Annie Bell Brooks of Athens; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
