Decatur - Eugene T. Burt, MSgt. US Air Force (Retired), 70, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Survivors include his son; Bryan Burt; sisters Judi Warner, Helen Howington, Debora Sanders and Kathy Cantrell; nieces Jeanne Andrews, Carissa Williams and Carolyn Green. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. Burial will follow at Burts United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
