Eric Daniel Duzan

Eric Daniel Duzan, 60, of Colbert, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Born in Louisville, Georgia, he was a son of Wayne and Diane Bowles Smith and the late Dan Duzan. Eric had a passion for fishing, camping, hot rods, and drag racing. He especially enjoyed spending time outdoors and sharing his passion for cars and racing with family and friends. He was self-employed and proudly owned and operated Duzan Recovery and Towing Services. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Skylar Duzan.

Survivors in addition to his mother and step-father include his cherished wife of almost 38 years, Sheryl Duzan; son, Daniel Duzan and his wife, Brittany; grandchildren, Tyler and Braelyn Duzan and siblings, Dawn Duzan-Radosevich, Amy Duzan Patton, Robby Smith and Michael Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 4:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville with Pastor Wayne Huntsinger officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.
