Ellen Marie Gossett

Ellen Marie Gossett, 71, of Jefferson, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Holt and Bernice Brady Holt. She was employed at Georgia Transmission from 1987 until 2023. Mrs. Gossett was a longtime faithful member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Catholic Church. She was also a member of Cherokee Gun Club, Cherokee Cowboys and the Longstreet Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gossett and her niece, Lori Holt.

Survivors include her brothers, Frederick Holt, Jr. (Nancy), Steven Holt (Michelle) and Chris Holt (Karee); 15 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be announced.
