Elizabeth Ann (Sellers) Day

Elizabeth Ann Day, 80, wife of the late Harry McKenny Day, died Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Born in Gainesville, GA, Mrs. Day  was the daughter of the late Robert Wiley Sellers and Lucy Whitehead Sellers.  She was a 1958 graduate of Athens High School, Athens Cosmetology and member of Winterville First Baptist Church.  Mrs. Day retired from Belk after 19 years as a Receiving Manager and had also worked as a beautician.

Survivors include her children: Larry (Carolyn) Day, Deborah (Rick) Arrendale, Jim (Kathy) Day, Cathy Cape, Carol (Paul) Looney and Amy (Jarrett) Hendrick; siblings: Bobby Sellers and Carolyn Wright; 16 grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

A private service will be held Friday, July 3, 2020.  Following the chapel service a graveside service will be held at 2:45PM at Athens Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
