Edward H. Duvall

Edward Harwood Duvall, 85, of Colbert, passed away on June 21, 2026. Born on July 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Lehman and Lois Duvall of Greshamville, Georgia.

Ed was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. When he was not cheering on his favorite team, Ed could be found enjoying the outdoors. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Duvall and Cecil Duvall; and great grandson, Jack Faulkner.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Duvall; daughters, Debbie (Scott) Suits, Missy (Phillip) Richards; grandchildren, Susan (Drew) Perry, Jameson (Savage) Faulkner, Jonathan (Emily) Suits, Rebecca (Alex) Hughes; great grandchildren, Abigail, Addison, and Anderson Perry, Ember Woods, Isaac Hughes; sister, Ann Colclough; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home Madison Chapel with nephew, Robbie Duvall officiating. Interment will follow at Colbert City Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.

Pallbearers include Jameson Faulkner, Jonathan Suits, Scott Suits, Phillip Richards, Heath Wood.
