Edward Leo Childers

Edward Childers, 72 of Danielsville, Georgia passed away from complications from pneumonia on February 10, 2023. Edward was born on January 22, 1951, in Nellysford, VA. He graduated from Norcross High School in 1969, served 2 and 1/2 years in the army, and retired from the US Postal Service after 35 of service.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Thomas Gordon Childers and Helen Romines Childers, and his brothers and sister Sue, Jim, Harvey, Dwight, and Sonny.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Darlene Childers and daughters Amy, Erin and Jenifer along with 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, February 16 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville, Georgia. Visitation is at 4 pm, ceremony at 5 pm.
