Edna L. Jeter, age 85, died Thursday, July 5, 2012. Mrs. Jeter was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Forsyth. Mrs. Jeter was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Floyd Jeter, and a son, Larry Wesley Jeter.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 3 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens EAST. Rev. Ray Wuerzer will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Jeter, and a sister, Muriel Race.
Pallbearers will be deacons of East Athens Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
