Edith Anne Pullin

Edith Anne Pullin 90 of High Shoals, GA, passed away on February 15, 2023.

Mrs. Pullin was born October 23, 1932, in High Shoals, GA to Louise Lovern Griffith and Euell “Boy” Griffith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known to all as Nanny Anne. She was a lifelong member of High Shoals Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Willie Pullin, Sr; and three brothers, Dwayne, Sam, and Alton.

Mrs. Pullin was a graduate of Morgan High School and retired from the Oconee County school lunchroom, where she had many friends and fed thousands of children. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking family meals for her loved ones. She loved being outdoors, cutting grass, gardening, fishing, and camping.

Funeral services are Friday 2:00 PM February 17, 2023, at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hwy 53, Watkinsville, GA 30677, with Pastor Jeffrey Thomas officiating. The visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023, at the Oconee chapel prior to service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.

Survivors include: Two children; son, Johnny Pullin; daughter, Deborah Pullin Smart (Dean); nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Lizabeth Shelnutt

Pallbearers are her grandchildren.
