Dr. Travis L. Spratlin
Travis passed away peacefully on June 25, 2023, at the age of 75. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Harry L. Spratlin and Elsie Smith Spratlin. He was a kind man with a brilliant mind. After serving in the U.S. Army, he received his Ph.D. in Physics and many other educational degrees and awards. He taught college-level classes, and worked with NASA, and also various defense companies. Travis further shared his immense knowledge by tutoring many students. A visitation will be held on August 20 at 1:30 pm in the Hull Baptist Church fellowship hall with a graveside service to follow at 2pm in the cemetery behind Hull Baptist Church in Hull, GA, with Rev. Terry Smith to officiate.
