Atlanta, GA - Dorothy Sexton Fowler, 92, died September 4, 2014.
Born in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Christopher Lonnie and Lillie Mae Miller Sexton and was preceded in death by her husband, Milton R. Fowler (1998). She was a longtime resident of Atlanta where she retired from Cluett Peabody & Co. and was a member of Atlanta First United Methodist Church.
Services will be Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, Danielsville with Rev. Charles Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Doug (Nancy) Fowler of Venice, FL; grandsons, Jason Fowler and Clint (Danica) Fowler; great grandsons, Luke and Garrett Fowler; brothers, Kenneth Sexton and Ed Sexton, both of Athens and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
