In Loving Memory of Donna Marie Weaver
Donna Marie Weaver, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, August 8, 2026, surrounded by her family and so much love.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Hodges Jones and Betty Ann Puckett, and her brother, Randy Jones. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her devoted husband of 44 years , William Weaver; her children, Calvin Weaver (Leisa), Sue Ann Blalock (Dale), Jan Puckett (Chad); her sister, Paula Daniel (Ken); and her grandchildren, Jenna Grizzell, Jasmine Wise, Brianna Maxwell, Allison Puckett, Will Weaver, and Clark Weaver. She is also survived by her nephews, Blaze Waldroup and Preston Waldroup, and her great-grandchildren, Hudson Hadden, Waylon Hadden, Hadley Wise, Finnley Wise, Carley Maxwell, and Luke Bell along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Donna faithfully worked as an inspector at Burton and Burton for 30 years before recently retiring. She took great pride in her work, but her greatest treasures were always her faith and her family. Donna loved Jesus and her family more than anything. She found some of her greatest joy in the simple moments of life—going out to eat, cooking out, gathering around the table, and being surrounded by the people she loved. Her love, laughter, kindness, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though she has left this earthly home, Donna’s faith in Jesus is a beautiful reminder that this goodbye is not forever. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now resting in the presence of her Savior.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Sandy Cross Baptist Church, 791 Lexington Carlton Road, Carlton, GA 30627. Interment will follow at Sandy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandy Cross Baptist Church in Donna’s memory.
