Donald Stephen Giusto

Donald Stephen Giusto, 92, of Athens passed away on November 7, 2022. Born on March 23, 1930, he was the son of the late Thomas Giusto and Margaret Pincsak Giusto.

Don served in the United States Marines during the Korean War, surviving the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, and the Vietnam War before retiring as a Major.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie M. Mixon; sons, John Giusto, Jerry Giusto; brothers, Vincent Giusto, Thomas Giusto; sisters, Margie Duarante, Madeline Giusto, Marie Giusto.

Survivors include his children, Sandra Thomas (Vic), Stephen V. (Beth) Giusto, Susan M. (Robert) Giusto; sister, Diane (Harry) Winans; daughter-in-law, June Giusto, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren .

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Athens Memory Gardens.
