Donald "Don" C. Bradberry

Donald C. "Don" Bradberry, 78, of Hull, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Born in Athens, he was a son of the late Robert Donald Bradberry and Grace Betts Bradberry. Don was a Purple Heart Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections and from Kendall/Vortex where he worked in the Maintenance Department. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid fan of flea markets, yard sales, Georgia football and his granddaughters' sporting events, but most importantly, he was a phenomenal father and grandfather, affectionately known as "D" by his grandchildren and all of their friends and teammates. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Hart Bradberry and his brother, Eddie Bradberry.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Guest; grandchildren, Kassie and Kinsey; great-grandson, Kacen and brothers, Randy Bradberry and Jeff Bradberry.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:00 am at Lord and Stephens, East with Rev. Barry Black officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, December 29, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
