Donald Keith Couch Sr.

Donald Keith Couch Sr., of Watkinsville, passed away on July 27, 2024. Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of the late Walter Couch and Mardell Sanders Couch. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Herb Johnson.

He was a painter for over 50 years. Donald proudly served his country in the Vietnam war and was a part of the 101st Airborne division.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Becky Couch; three children: Donald Keith Couch Jr., Walter Chad Couch, and Teresa Michelle Couch; four grandchildren: Chris Couch, Hunter Couch, Coby Couch, and Cameron Couch; great grandchild: Ella Graham, and sister-in-law: Wilma Johnson.

A private graveside service will be held.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Bristol Hospice, who graciously cared for Donald. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
