Dolores Vicchiarelli

January 21, 1937 — May 28, 2023

On May 28, 2023, as dawn broke to reveal God’s goodness, Dolores Vicchiarelli (86) rejoined her late husband Don in eternal happiness.  She was the daughter of the late Leo and Luella Stoll.  Dolores was the loving mother of three children, Debbie Vicchiarelli (Steve Sweeney), Bob Vicchiarelli (Karen), and Tammy Rumpf (Jim).  She was also the doting grandmother of Tony Vicchiarelli, Katylin Sweeney, and Jack Rumpf.

Dolores dedicated her life to motherhood, her love and devotion to immediate and extended family knew no bounds.  She spent her life making her husband and children her top priority.  Dolores was a graduate of Canton Timken High School and spent her professional life working in the insurance industry.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, June 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Athens, Georgia, where she resided with family.  The Rite of Committal will follow in July at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Canton, Ohio, the hometown she loved so much.  Dolores will be laid to rest with her husband Don whom she was married to for 51 loving and adventurous years.  Dolores is survived by her sister Pat Gill and brother Dick Stoll and was preceded in death by her brother Jim Stoll.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, Watkinsville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
