Bogart, GA - Ralph Denny Stephens, 52, passed away October 8, 2008.
A lifelong resident of Oconee County, he was a son of Jenny Stephens of Watkinsville and the late Ralph Stephens. Denny was employed with Georgia Power for sixteen years and was owner and operator of Eastville Stephens, Inc. for the last twelve years. He was involved for many years with Oconee County Little League and Oconee County High School Warrior Baseball. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Grace Fellowship Church with Revs. Tony Vismor and Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Karen Stephens; three sons and daughter-in-law, Matt (Megan) Stephens, Chase Stephens and Nick Stephens, all of Bogart; two sisters, Mary Jean "Dean" Stephens of Athens and Brenda Brown of Concord, NC; grandson, Hudson Stephens.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Oconee County High School Baseball Warrior Dugout Club.
