Dennis James Woods, 64, of Athens, passed away on October 4, 2022. Born on August 29, 1958, he was the son of James Woods and Yvonne Boggs Woods.
Dennis was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of over 37 years, Maria Woods; sons, Samuel Woods, Jacob Woods (Maris Lyons), Barrett Woods, Jackson Woods; grandchild, Rylee Woods; siblings, Karen Bond (Tony), Darrell Woods (Anna Marie).
The family will receive friends at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, EAST, Athens on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm.
