Born in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Dewey Seagraves Jr. and Marie Faulkner Seagraves. Debra was an educator in the Fulton County School System for 32 years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, watching the Georgia Bulldogs, living life on Lake Norris, spending time with her friends, family, nieces, and her golden doodle, Kali.
Survivors include her sister Donna Seagraves Howard; brother Ricky Seagraves; his wife Denise Epps Seagraves; nieces Hannah Lynn Howard and Mary Grace Howard; Trisha Ann Seagraves; and Jennifer Marie Seagraves
Though ALS took its toll , Debra faced everyday with strength and courage. Debra fought bravely in her final months and was surrounded by family and friends who will greatly miss her.
A visitation for Debra Seagraves will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2:00 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, Lord and Stephens East.
