Deborah Lynne Belote

Deborah Lynne Belote, 69, of Athens, passed away on April 15, 2025. Born on September 10, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Stigile and Jeanette Rigney Stigile.

Growing up, Deb was a daddy’s girl, spending her time with him watching WWE, playing card games and word games, interests she carried into her adulthood, and later did with her two sons. She enjoyed making things with her hands, leading her to hobbies like crocheting, baking and cooking. She had a love for Baseball and was a lifelong fan of the Baltimore Orioles.

Deb was an outgoing, levelheaded individual who was often the mentor of the family, offering guidance and advice to those seeking it. She loved spending time with her family and her two cats.

Survivors include her sons, Nathan Belote (Mandie), Joshua Belote; siblings, Sharon Dutton, Arthur Stigile (Jin), Michael Stigile (Marcia), Kenneth Stigile (Tina), David Stigile (Lisa), Richard Stigile (Tammy); best friend, Stephanie DelGrippo; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
