Milledgeville - Dawn Hale Cole, 45, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at her residence in Milledgeville.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel, Bogart, GA.
Born in Athens, GA, she was a longtime member of Milledge Avenue Baptist Church. Her love was writing and composing music. She also enjoyed working in her yard and antiquing.
Survivors include her daughters: Haley Cole of Indialantic, FL and Ansley Cole of Charleston, SC; mother and step-father: Lee and Ed Salmon of Watkinsville; father and step-mother: Harold and Nina Hale of Westminster, SC; sisters and brothers-in-law: Donna and Robert Greenwood and Diane and Buddy McCants; and three nephews: Kemp, Daniel, and Zach Greenwood.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Milledgeville, 711 S. Wilkinson Street, Milledgeville, GA 31061-3810.
Lord & Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
