Kent Studdard, 72, died April 11, 2016.
A lifelong resident of this area, he was a son of Sarah Haralson Studdard of Monroe and the late Fred Studdard. Kent retired from American General Life and Accident after forty-four years and was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Chapelwood United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Monroe.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Jo Studdard; daughter, Tracy (Rich) Niemeier of Athens; sister, Barbara Cooper of Monroe; brother, Bruce Studdard of Home, LA; two granddaughters, Morgan Meglio and Anna Niemeier; a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Chapelwood UMC.
