David Norris Hilley, Sr., 61, died Saturday, September 30, 2011.
A native of Athens, David was the son of Betty Jean Hilley of Lexington and the late Roy T. Hilley, Sr. He served his county in the US Army during Vietnam.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son and daughter in law; David and Crystal Hilley, Jr.; brothers and sister in law: Billy and Joy Hilley of Colbert, Roy Hilley Jr. of Lexington and grandchildren: Kayleigh and Dalton Hilley.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow at Thaxton-Wynn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe is in charge of arrangements.
