vid Chambers, 65, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
David was the son of the late Harold and Ethel Chambers. David was a 1967 graduate of Athens High School. He was the owner and operator of an emergency courier service and a broker in freight hauling.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, William; brother, Pete (Tara) Chambers of Cordele.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
