David Michael Chafin

David Michael Chafin 61 of Athens, passes away April 21, 2024. He was the son of the late, Marion A & LaNelle Chafin. David loved his Stuffed Bear named “PAPA”, he never was apart from PAPA until he passed and will reunited with him soon. The family wants to extend a special Thank You and much appreciation to The Day Center of Designing Minds/Terrells PCH and the staff for the caring care they took with David.

Graveside services will be on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Burts United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his sister, Vicki Cofer; and special caregivers and other family, Shawanda (Tony) Wingfield.
