Dana Allen Carter, cherished husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the age of 72.
Born in Athens, he was a son of the late Emory Allen Carter and Sara Dillard Carter. Mr. Carter was a clock repairman and mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Amvets Post 10.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Adams Carter; two children, Monique Adams-Crawford and William Joseph Adams; two sisters, Diane Gilbert and Dreta Hayden; three grandchildren, Ashlynn Self Bone, Demi Self and Michael Self and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at Evergreen Memorial Park.
