Consuelo Antonio Hooper

Consuelo Antonio Hooper, 89, of Watkinsville passed away on March 1, 2023. She was born in the Philippines on December 16, 1933 to the late Maria Serafica Antonio and Anecito Antonio.

Consuelo spent many years living in Watkinsville, Georgia and was well known for selling egg rolls at the local Fall Festival. She was feisty and expressive and loved quilting, cooking and gardening, having a particular fondness for flowers. She would always put others first and would sacrificed a lot for those around her.

Survivors include her children, Julius Hooper, Connie Lou Shreve; grandchildren, Hagen and Chatham Hooper; nieces, Marissa Pettit, Rose Frantz, Maria Normita Descallar, Zoraida Antonio; nephew, Al Chester Descallar.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, WEST, Watkinsville. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM that morning and from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery.
