Constance “Connie” Moore Hall passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Connie had a truly good life and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Connie was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 15, 1942, to John and Frances Moore. She graduated from North Fulton High School in 1960 and spent one year at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia.
In 1975, Connie and her family moved to Athens, Georgia, and later to Watkinsville, Georgia until her children graduated from Oconee County High School. She later moved back to Athens where she resided until her death. Connie retired from the University of Georgia in 2011 after a 30-year career.
Connie cherished her family, her faith, and her life in Christ above all else. She loved the Dawgs and had season tickets with her husband, Ernest. Her sweet spirit and friendly demeanor touched many lives, and her kindness will be remembered for years to come. Connie loved her church family for many years at Beech Haven, and later worshiped with the Madison Church of Christ.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hall; and by her mother and father, John L. Moore and Frances Moore.
She is survived by her brother, Major David Moore; her three children: Natalie Wheeler (Ben), Eric Oare (Linda), and Brent Oare; her grandchildren: Ashlie, Brad, David, Eric, James, and Taylor; and her great-grandchildren: Brian and Hudson. We love you, Ma.
