Connie Joan (Wilson) Butler

Connie Joan Wilson Butler, 62, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016. A native of Athens, she was the daughter of Francine Smith Wilson of Winterville, and the late James Roy Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, James Ralph "Jim" Wilson and Joann Wilson. Mrs. Butler retired from Burton & Burton as a Warehouse Inspector after 22 years. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, William Edward "Willie" Butler, Jr. of Nicholson; daughter: Joy Butler (Kevin) Smith of Hull; son: William "Eddie" Edward (Amanda) Butler, III of Royston; sisters: Linda Howard and Jean Wilson and granddaughter: Kaitlyn Smith. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2016 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Blake Foster officiating.
