Stephens - Clyde Alvin Williford, Sr., 65, husband of Daisy Williford, died Monday, May 30, 2005 at his residence.
Born in Oglethorpe County he was the son of the late Hoyt Gene and Ruth Mildred Williford. Mr. Williford was a farmer and a member of Salem baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Travis and wife Susan Williford of Comer, Alvin Williford of Stephens, Andy Williford of Oregon; sister, Faye Jean Wages of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Jared, Jessica, Dawson, Austin and Bryce Williford.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 1 PM at Lord & Stephens, Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Ralph Arnold officiating. Visitation will be held tonight 7 - 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Hayes, Billy Bryant, Franklin Turner, Tommy Thaxton, Ed Reynolds and Hershel Hill.
Lord & Stephens, Oglethorpe is in charge of arrangements.
