Christine Bowen Beck

Christine Bowen Beck, 96, of Watkinsville, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021.

Born in Commerce, she was a daughter of the late William Bowen and Ernest Clarke Bowen. Mrs. Beck was a member of Whitehall Baptist Church and was very devoted to her faith. She was the first female Manager at Sears in Athens and enjoyed cooking and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Beck Jr. and her husband, David Beck Sr.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Keri Hurst (Penn) and Katie Beck and five great-grandchildren, Averee, Sydney, Tyler and Courtney Hurst and Liam Mims.

No memorial services are scheduled at this time.
