Chester Hugh Davis

Chester Hugh Davis, age 83, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on September 17, 1942, Chester "Chet" lived a life defined by dedication, integrity, faith, and love for his family. He built a distinguished career as a tooling engineer, earning the respect of colleagues and friends through his expertise, commitment, and strong work ethic. Most recently, he worked for Lockheed Martin, where his knowledge and professionalism were highly valued.

A devoted Baptist, Chet's faith guided him throughout his life. He found strength and purpose in serving others, caring for his family, and living according to the values he held dear.

Above all, Chet was a devoted family man. He shared 63 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carolyn Davis. Together, they built a life centered on faith, love, commitment, and family, creating a legacy that will endure for generations.

Chet is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Davis; his son, Mark Davis, and wife Robin Davis; granddaughters Haley Fouche and husband Chris Fouche, and Sabrina Davis; his son, Keith Davis, and wife Renate Davis; granddaughters Autumn Davis and Amber Davis; his sister, Nancy Merck; brother-in-law James Norton and wife Janice Norton; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Chet will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His presence blessed the lives of many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hull Baptist Church, Hull, Georgia.

Though he will be deeply missed, Chet's family finds comfort in the cherished memories he leaves behind, and the lasting impact of a life well lived.
