Catherine Vivian McManus

Catherine Vivian Scarborough Roland McManus, 94, wife of the late Homer McManus, died, Sunday, July 3, 2016. A native of Madison County she was the daughter of the late Forrest G. Scarborough and Bessie Gurley Scarborough. She was also preceded in death by her daughters: Rachel Vivian Harris and Patricia Dianne Lytle; siblings: Julian Gurley, Carl Scarborough, Clara Sue Dillon, Coyle Scarborough, Curly Wilson and Corine Morrison. She retired from Winecoff Nursing Facility as a dietitian and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children: Homer Glen (Rosa Nell) Roland, Carolyn Inez Foster, David Wayne (Dana) McManus; sister: Christine Malcom; nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 3PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
