Carolyn Jean Bennett, 51, wife of Steven Howard Lang, died Sunday, September 26, 2021. Born in Lakeland, FL, Jean was a graduate of Georgia Southern and had worked at Oconee County High School as a Guidance Counselor since 1999. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents: Don and Becky Bennett; daughter: Ashleigh Lang; brother: Daniel Stephens (Carrie) Bennett; nephews: Carter and Walker Bennett. The family will receive friends from 5PM until 7PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Lord and Stephens West Chapel.
