Statham - Caroline F. Tench, 72, wife of the late Walter Lee Tench Sr., died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Leevie Freeman. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Lee Tench of Statham; daughter, Yvonne Markowski of Athens; sisters, Sally Norton of Watkinsville, Josephine Mason of Memphis, TN, and Dennie Jordan of Mumford, TN; and grandchildren, Jason and Josh Brown.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has requested that memorial be made to the Ride for Kids, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC, 28806.
Lord & Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
