Carol “Jean” Pattinson, 82, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of family.

Jean was born on March 15, 1943. She was predeceased by eight siblings and her beloved husband, Charles Pattinson, a proud Navy retiree whose memory she cherished every day.

Jean is survived by three of her siblings—sisters Doris Busbin and Betty Anderson, and brother Harry Gabriel—as well as many adoring nieces and nephews she loved as her own children.

Her days were spent with her loving dog Bo, family meals at her sister Doris’ house, treasure hunting at thrift stores, and monthly Yahtzee game nights with her close-knit group of ladies.

Although, Jean's spirit, heart, and love for those around her will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to live on in the stories, traditions, and laughter of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

A memorial service will be held at Lord and Stephen’s Funeral Home, East, Athens, GA on Sunday July 20, 2025 with a viewing starting at 1:00pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.
