Born November 10, 1955, Carol was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Strickland of Winterville, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Stacy Strickland

A faithful and loving wife, Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tim; sons, Bryan Hale (Shawna), Matt Hale (Heather), Mike Hale (Meilian) and daughter Kellie Hale; 15 wonderful grandchildren and her siblings, Barry Strickland, Cathy Brown, Tommy Strickland, Missy Cobb and Tammy Taylor.

Carol was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was baptized in 1970 and continued her faithful service of sharing the Good News of the Kingdom that  Jesus taught us to pray for, up until her death.

Her wonderful qualities were many. Instead of listing them, the Bible Book of Proverbs best describes them:

Proverbs Chapter 31:

vs #10- "Who can find a capable wife? Her Value is far more than that of corals".

vs #11-"Her husband trusts her from his heart, and he lacks nothing of value".

vs #20-"She extends her palm to the lowly one, and she opens her hands to the poor".

vs #28-"Her children rise up and declare her happy, her husband rises up and praises Her".

vs #29-"There are many capable women, but you-you surpass them all".

Vs #30-"The woman who fears Jehovah will be praised".
