Carl L. Bond, 65, died August 9, 2012.
A native of Erlangen, Germany, he was a son of C. L. Bond of Danielsville and the late Jackobine Heinrichmeyer Bond. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from DuPont after thirty years. Mr. Bond was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Linda F. Bond; two children, Alan (Ashley) Bond and Allison (Mark) Dry, all of Danielsville; siblings, Ruth Bond of Danielsville, George (Frances) Bond of Athens, Nancy (Ron) Garrison and Steve (Pansy) Bond, all of Danielsville; five grandchildren, A.J. Bond, Jace Veal, Collin Veal, Ava Bond and Taylor Dry.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Advantage, c/o Hospice Services Inc., 401 Center Avenue, Bay City, MI 48708
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
