Bruce Harding Witcher, 65, died Friday, April 25, 2014.
A native Salisbury, NC, he was the son of the late Walton and Mattie Witcher. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brother: Sammy and James Witcher and granddaughter, Ashton Strickland. He retired from Dupont in 1990 as a machine operator.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Strickland Witcher; children: Walt (Kim) Witcher of Hull, Shelia (Jeff) Adams of Danielsville, Scott (Pam) Strickland of Danielsville; sister: Peggy (Leland) Milton of Farmington; grandchildren: Keith Wolford, Torey Strickland, Preston Strickland, Jessica Adams; great granddaughter: Alexis Strickland and special friends, Larry and Jean Porterfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Bobby Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
