Brent Helton passed from this life on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 5:20 PM in the arms of his mother Velvie Helton. She was there when he took his first beautiful breath to his last. It was as God meant it to be.
Brent was a hairdresser and owned a business in Athens for 30+ years. Kaleidoscope originally opened on Baxter Street then later relocated to Prince Ave.
Brent has a brother, Kelly Fowler of Anderson South Carolina.
Brent was loved by so many, especially his mother.

A visitation for Mr. Helton will be held Saturday, November 8th, from 6 to 8 PM.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
