Bonnie Faye Paul

Bonnie Faye Luke Paul, 95, died August 13, 2025.

A native of Oconee County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Mamie House Luke and Hayes Luke and was the widow of Henry Lewis Paul. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonita Arlene Paul; sister, Jeanette Paul; and a grandson, Gregory Glenn Paul, Jr.

Mrs. Paul lived in Hartwell since 1996 after living most of her life in the Athens and Bogart areas. She was a former member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Athens and was active with Woodmen of the World and the Moose Club. She was a wonderful Mama, Grandmama and G. G. She loved traveling, cooking, and spoiling her family.

A private burial will be at Oconee Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include three children, Greg (Sharon) Paul of Winterville, GA, Jeffery Lewis (Beth) Paul of Cumming, GA and Starri Paul Nation (Tim Parham) of Elberton, GA; sister, Hazel Hardigree of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Heather Elizabeth (Ryan) Leone of Buford, GA, Amanda Jewel (Michael) Lankford of Bozeman, MT and Ashton (Maggie) Melton of Cumming, GA; great grandchildren, Casady Leone, Olivia Leone, Brooke Leone, Will Lankford and Sidney Lankford.
