Bobby Eugene Kitchen, Jr.

Bobby Eugene Kitchen, Jr., 62, of Winterville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was a son of Linda Brown Dalton and the late Carl Dalton. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1983 to 1987, carrying with him the values of honor, dedication, and service throughout his life. Following his military service, he built a successful career with Waste Pro, where he retired as Shop Manager after years of hard work and leadership. Outside of work, Bob found his greatest joy on the open road riding his motorcycle, camping in the outdoors, and creating lasting memories with his family. Above all else, he treasured the time he spent with his cherished grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Carl Kitchen and his sister, Dawn Kitchen.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Victoria “Tori” Kitchen; children, Joseph Kitchen, Andrew Kitchen (Kelli), Corey Kitchen and Bob Kitchen, III; step-children, James Burdette (Carla), Brittany Young (Luke), Amber Burdette and Bobbi Johns; daughter-in-law, Cassie Kitchen; brothers, Jimmy Kitchen, Jason Dalton and Roy Dalton; half-brothers, Eugene Kitchen and Donald Kitchen; grandchildren, Allison Kitchen, Henry Kitchen, Ryder Kitchen and River Kitchen; step-grandchildren, Austin Burdette, April Bennett (Lee), Alex Burdette, Symphony Young, Melvin Young, Christopher Martinez (Madison), Diego Martinez and David Martinez and great-grandchildren, Grayson Martinez and Atlas Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
