Betty Jean (Busbin) Milligan

Betty Jean Busbin Milligan, 88, of Athens, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

Betty was a lifelong resident of the Athens area and a member of East Athens Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carroll Milligan; her parents, James David Busbin and Lois Stewart Busbin; 11 deceased siblings: Alton Busbin, Fred Busbin, Winston Busbin, Pete Busbin, Ben Busbin, Onnie Busbin, Willie Mae Berryman, Ruby Gray, Myrtice Thompson, Peggy Busbin, and Hazel Martin; and son-in-law John Wesley Hill.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Carol Jean Hill, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Oconee Hill Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
