Betty Jo Fowler

Betty Jo Fowler, 84, died July 13, 2023.

A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Jessie Simmons Epps and the widow of her husband of forty-six years, Watson Fowler. Betty was also preceded in death by two sons, Lamar McCannon and Charles McCannon.

Betty was a member of Christian Life Worship Center and retired from Superior Pants after more than twenty years of employment.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Survivors include a brother, J.W. Epps of Hull; two grandchildren, Kari McCannon and Jason McCannon; four great grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, Penny and Colton; daughter-in-law, Debbie McCannon.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
